Mansory Equestre is a bulked out Ferrari 12Cilindri
Luxury vehicle modification company Mansory continues to push back against the haters with the unveiling of its latest conversion ahead of the Monaco Yacht Show.
The Equestre (Italian for ‘equestrian’) is the world’s first complete conversion of a Ferrari 12Cilindri and will be available in either coupe or spider form. It follows last year’s Pugnator, a radical take on the Ferrari Purosangue.
So what is different about the Equestre compared to the 12Cilindri? Well, plenty of carbon fibre for one, as well as an increase in power and other technical upgrades.
Exterior
Clad in striking bespoke purple paintwork that blends into the carbon fibre body panels, the Equestre has significantly enlarged air intakes as part of a redesigned front end. Carbon fibre is Extended wheel arches allow Mansory’s new glossy black forged VF.5 rims, with 21 inch performance tyres at the front and 22 inch at the rear.
Speaking of the rear, a full carbon apron has been applied there as well as an integrated third brake light, while the Equestre is finished off with a Tricolore strip that runs across the centre of the car as a nod to the 12Cilindri’s Italian roots, despite its prominant German alterations.
Interior
Inside, Mansory has swapped Ferrari’s leather for grey Alcanta with purple accents and trim, although customers will be offered a range of colours and material options to choose from to make their Equestre truly unique. How unique you want to make it depends on the size of your pockets.
A whole host of Mansory logos are seen throughout the interior, including the floor mats, brake pedals and seat belts, and some are even illuminated with LED lights. It doesn’t stop with the carbon fibre use, with the interior seeing it applied on the leather steering wheel and other components, which Mansory refers to as “visible carbon”.
Engine
The Equestre takes the 6.5 litre naturally aspirated V12 engine that the 12Cilindri takes its name from and turns it up a notch. The 830hp and 678Nm of torque on the 12Cilindri is upgraded to 843bhp and 730 Nm of torque, while the Equestre also boasts a new valve control system with two sports catalytic converters and two adjacent tailpipes.
Price
Such is the scope for customisation, finding out the official price of a Mansory Equestre is much like asking the length of a piece of string. However, a conservative estimate would see the potential buyer of an Equestre spend comfortably north of £370k. For reference, when the 12Cilindri went on sale in 2024, you’d be looking at spending £336,500 on the coupe and £366,500 on a Spider version.
