Zenos E10 returns with RZ model due in 2026
Norfolk-based manufacturer Zenos is back after a period in the automotive wilderness and has announced its return by bringing back its E10 model in a new, reengineered form.
The original E10 was launched in 2014 and in production from January 2015, with over 100 units being made before production stopped at the end of 2016 when the company went into administration. Just months later, Zenos was saved from the abyss by a consortium led by Alan Lubinsky’s AC Cars, which acquired the company and assets.
Now, the new Zenos E10 RZ represents the return of the brand and the car which established it in the automotive space. It will head a new range of sports cars from the Norfolk-based manufacturer, which aims to combine new powertrains and materials with traditional British light-weight manufacturing.
E10 RZ talking points
The E10 RZ sees Zenos make use of modern powertrain tech, putting in a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that produces 380bhp and 510Nm of torque paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. This results in a 0-62mph acceleration time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 150mph.
The car is lighter due to extensive use of carbon fibre in the bodywork and has a slightly lower centre of gravity thanks to a large, single aluminium extrusion for the car’s spine, enabling better handling and stability. This is on top of the independent front suspension and coil over dampers at the rear.
Inside, bespoke bucket seats and more carbon fibre are prominent, while new instrumentation, information centre and controls finish off the simplistic and compact cabin.
Potential customers will be able to specify paint colour and finish of their E10 RZ, and all builds will take place in the UK.
When is the full reveal?
Today’s images and information from Zenos are just a sneak peek at what is to come later down the line. The completed Zenos E10 RZ will be revealed at the start of 2026, and prices are set to start from £140,000. Production and deliveries are set to begin soon after.
The E10 R2 is expected to join the party in mid-2026 and will be powered by a 2.3-litre turbocharged engine producing 325bhp. It will feature the same aluminium and carbon fibre chassis, as well as full carbon fibre bodywork, a 6-speed manual gearbox and a limited slip differential, all for a starting price of £120,000.
Less than 50 Zenos cars are set to make their way to customers in the first full year of business.
