Alfa Romeo to be celebrated at Goodwood Revival 2025
Centenary of the marque’s victory in the inaugural Manufacturers’ World Championship
A collection of cars from Alfa Romeo’s competitive history will appear at this year’s Goodwood Revival as the Italian marque’s win in the inaugural Manufacturers’ World Championship is honoured.
Alfa’s story from 1925 to 1975 will be told with appearances from Grand Prix cars, sports cars, touring cars and prototypes, which have competed at some of the most famous races in the world, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Mille Miglia and Targa Florio.
The Revival will also remember legendary drivers that got behind the wheel of some of these Alfa Romeos, including four-time Grand Prix winner Antonio Ascari, five-time World Champion Juan Manuel Fangio, five-time Grand Prix winner and first World Drivers’ Champion Giuseppe Farina and pre-war driver Tazio Nuvolari.
Formula 1 will be the subject of celebration at this summer’s Goodwood Festival of Speed as part of ‘The Winning Formula’ theme. The centenary of the Manufacturers’ World Championship will also be recognised at the event, along with the F1 75 celebrations as drivers, cars, designers and personalities from the past, present and future of F1 make their way to West Sussex.
What else is happening at the Revival?
As well as the Alfa Romeo celebration, the Revival will open with a VW Type 2 Split Screen track opening while all races will, once again, be using sustainable fuel exclusively. The Goodwood Revival takes place from Friday 12 - Sunday 14 September 2025.
