Vauxhall Corsa price cut by £5,550 with new Yes Edition

Vauxhall Corsa Yes Edition

Vauxhall has revealed the special Yes Edition of its Corsa Electric and at £26,895, it is £5,550 cheaper than the previous model, offering UK customers potentially one of the cheapest EV options on the market.

So how does it line up? The special edition of Britain’s best-selling supermini for the past three years has a 136hp electric motor and produces 260Nm of torque. In terms of range, it can do around 221 miles on a single charge with a 0-80% charge taking just half an hour using a 100kW rapid charger.

The model seen in the pictures here is finished in an exclusive Record Red although customers are also able to choose between Arctic White, Carbon Black or Graphic Grey. Details like the roof, exterior mirror housings and 16-inch alloy wheels are all finished in black.

In the cabin, the driver and front passenger are treated to sporty seats with red accents and can make use of Vauxhall’s multimedia infotainment system, which has a 10-inch touchscreen that is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible and has wireless smartphone integration.

Other features that come with the Yes Edition are automatic lights and wipers, climate control, LED headlights and daytime running lights, high beam assist, keyless entry and start, rear parking sensors, electric front and rear windows as well a host of driver-assistance technology.

The Corsa Electric YES Edition will be sold exclusively online, with customers able to order from 17 April.
