The New 2025 Flying Spur

Next year will see Bentley release, what it is calling, its “most powerful, most dynamic and most efficient four-door car in (its) 105-year history”.

The new 2025 Flying Spur, which replaces the 2019 iteration, will have an Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain, also used on the recently revealed Continental GT Speed. The 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 is mated to a compact electric motor and produces 782hp and 1000 Nm of torque. It is a true grand tourer capable of more than 500 miles of range on a single tank, with 45 miles of electric range, also.

The new system has 150hp more than the previous W12-powered Flying Spur, along with an extra 100 Nm of torque. Bentley calls the hybrid system “the most technologically advanced and most powerful powertrain in (its) long history."

The British brand says further details of the new Flying Spur will be released in due course. Judging by the image we’ve been given, it shouldn’t look too different in its overall styling, although the bumper and grille look to have had a slight refresh.
