Ineos Grenadier Game Viewer is the perfect safari vehicle
After being unveiled as a prototype concept at Goodwood Festival of Speed, Ineos has finally revealed the production version of its Grenadier Game Viewer, the 4X4 made for safari trekking.
The Game Viewer was created in-house at Ineos, with long and extra-long wheelbase Grenadiers being shipped from its Hambach assembly plant to the Ineos Kavango facility in Botswana, which the brand acquired in 2023. The Grenadiers have been stripped down to the bare bones, meaning no paint, no tailgates, no roof and no sides, leaving just two front seats, and a 4X4 ready to be converted.
The choice between a four- or nine-passenger seat configuration depends on the wheelbase used, and no chassis alterations are required, ensuring the same strength and durability as the original. Buyers will also be able to tailor their vehicle to their individual needs and tinker with areas like storage layout and roof design.
Full circle moment for the Grenadier
Lynn Calder, CEO of Ineos Automotive, called the reveal of the production Grenadier Game View a “full circle” moment that embodied Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s “original inspiration for a modern, robust 4X4 came while on safari in Botswana almost ten years ago”.
The Game Viewer has already generated interest from game reserves and safari lodges around Africa, as well as ranches and estates in the US, Middle East and South East Asia.
