Alfa Romeo Junior Ibrida prices and spec confirmed

Hybrid powered Junior joins the party

For those not quite ready to take the plunge with a fully electric - and Car of the Year nominated - Junior, Alfa Romeo is now offering a hybrid variant known as the Ibrida, which in turn becomes the most affordable option in the range.

Already available with 156hp or 280hp electric powertrains, the Ibrida instead combines a 48v battery with a 21kW electric motor integrated into a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox for what Alfa calls “a blend of performance and efficiency.”

The Ibrida doesn’t miss out on electric only driving entirely, however, as there is the option to do this at low speeds or when going through cities.

How much does the Ibrida cost?

Prices for the Alfa Romeo Junior Ibrida start from £27,895 OTR. Comparatively, a 156hp Elettrica variant would set you back £33,895, while a top of the range 280hp Elettica Veloce model would cost a whopping £42,295.

What comes as standard?

For your £27,895, the Alfa Romeo Junior Ibrida features Leggenda scudetto grille, 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, LED headlamps and taillamps, gloss black mirror covers, rain sensing wipers, rear parking sensors and keyless start.

Looking inside, you’ll be sitting on Icona seats with blue or black cloth. The cockpit itself contains a 10.25 inch instrument cluster, 10.25 inch central driver screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, as well as Alfa Connect Services which provides an Amazon Alexa and ChatGPT-powered voice assistant. There is also a fair amount of safety kit, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, e-Call and Alfa Romeo Connected Services.

For long journeys, 415 litres of cargo space - the largest in its segment - should be sufficient for you and the family.

Additional extras

To give your Ibrida a few extra special touches, there is the option of the Technology Pack, which adds LED Matrix headlamps, a wireless charging pad, parking sensors on the front, rear and sides, along with Adaptive Cruise Control and Traffic Jam Assist.

One step further with the addition of the Premium Pack gives you cargo flex kit, dark tinted rear windows, a leather steering wheel, black painted body kit and heated and massaging seats.

When is the Ibrida available to buy?

Orders will begin at the end of February, with customers set to receive their Ibrida in Q2 of this year.
