Check out this 788bhp supercharged Ford Mustang Dark Horse by Clive Sutton

Clive Sutton has revealed the CS800DH Mustang, a 788bhp supercharged Ford Mustang Dark Horse, which is set to be one of the most powerful available to buy in the UK and will set you back between £135,000 and £165,000.

The London-based high-performance vehicle specialist has made enhancements to the performance, handling and aerodynamics, while the exterior and interior are also given a refresh.

Clive Sutton, founder and CEO: “Our customers love the Mustang and consistently turn to us to unleash its full performance capability, alongside accessing our suite of distinctive exterior and interior enhancements. With 780 bhp, the full Ford Performance warranty, a glorious supercharger whine and our bespoke exhaust, there’s nothing like the CS800DH Mustang!”

Boosting power and performance

To achieve the 76% increase in power compared to your standard Mustang Dark Horse, the Clive Sutton team has fitted a Ford Performance 3.0L Whipple Supercharger to the 5 litre V8 engine. What could once produce 447bhp will now put out 788bhp at 6,700 rpm, as well as 61% more torque.

While the massive increase in raw power is the headline grabber, the team at Clive Sutton has also focused on performance and driving experience, pairing new Vossen wheels with Michelin Pilot 4S tires that give a lowered and stiffened suspension. A Borla ATAK quad-trip exhaust system with custom H-pipe gives it a more raucous sound.

Inside, driving engagement is given focus with the addition of an MGW short-throw racing shifter, all while sitting in adjustable racing Recaro sports seats with heating and cooling functions.

Exterior

The CS800 DH looks a little different from your standard Mustang and features plenty of carbon fibre additions in the form of a 1,580 mm-wide raised rear wing, larger diffuser, distinctive double-sided bonnet, front splitter, and side skirts.

Interior

More on those Recaro racing seats from earlier, which can be swapped in for standard seats and are part of a transformed interior. Customers will also be given the option of reupholstering the seats, inner doors and steering wheel using a range of materials, from leather to Alcantara. The colour in this picture may not be to everyone’s taste, but I think it looks pretty decent and is very Ford.

Where to see the CS800DH Mustang

The supercharged Mustang will make its public debut at Salon Privé Blenheim Palace in late August alongside other high-performance and luxury vehicles from the Clive Sutton range, including a new build ‘67 Mustang GT500CS, VIP Mercedes-Benz V-Class, and the latest 2025 Cadillac Escalade.
