RML reveals first GT Hypercar - the 908bhp GTH
The car was unveiled at Salon Privé 2025
Could this be the ultimate GT? Well, this is what British company RML have promised…
This is the GTH, a 908bhp 911 Turbo S from high-performance automotive engineering specialists RML that takes inspiration from Le Mans Hypercar racers like the Porsche GT1.
The car, developed under the P39 codename due to it being RML’s 39th project car, is 40 years in the making. It will be produced in limited quantities, with only 39 production models set to be created. They are expected to cost around £495,000 excluding VAT, with a donor car needing to be provided. And just in case you were wondering, all 39 have already been reserved.
RML says the GTH ‘delivers an uncompromising fusion of all-round performance, bespoke refinement and usability.’ Bespoke active aerodynamics, featuring a large front splitter and adjustable rear spoiler, are also a feature for the road going car.
The example unveiled is also the first of 10 RML 40th Anniversary Special Edition (SE) variants. These come with exclusive interior detailing and upgrades, as well as the Performance Pack and Track Pack, which provide selectable ride height adjustment, a rear roll cage, and a rear-seat delete.
Thanks to a partnership with Litchfield Motors in creating a flat-six, the GTH boasts an increased output of 908bhp and 1000Nm of torque, achieved through exhaustive and exacting tuning.
The example unveiled in Oxfordshire was tailored to the customer’s desired spec and finished in Storm Purple with a carbon-tinted roof and bonnet. The badging and wheels - 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear - are finished in Gold and are complemented by Gunmetal brake calipers.
Inside, the standard seats and interior leather have been retrimmed with Crayon colour stitching and matching seatbelt, while the inlays use more carbon fibre. The GTH is ready for racing with a Storm Purple coloured roll cage to match the exterior.
Speaking at the unveiling at Salon Prive, Michael Mallock, Board Member responsible for the Bespoke Division, said: “This is a proud day in RML history. I could not be more thrilled with how the GT Hypercar has turned out. It was an ambitious project but it has beaten even my exacting expectations on road and track. I congratulate and thank the whole RML team for making my and our customer’s dream cars come true.’
Also on display at the Blenheim Palace event was the NIO EP9 prototype EV supercar, developed by RML on behalf of Chinese electric car company NIO. It was a record breaker at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 2017 and is just one of 16 prototypes produced for the company under project P31.
