Red Bull unveils one-off livery for Silverstone

The first REBL CUSTMS look is the first of three special liveries to be used this season.

Red Bull has revealed a special one-off livery to be used on the RB20 cars driven by Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez for the British Grand Prix.

Inspiration and Design

The work of Chalaj Suvanish from Thailand using the REBL CUSTMS configurator, the redesign takes inspiration from a pre-season testing livery from 2015 known as The Camo Bull and is part of the team’s Forever Rebl campaign celebrating 20 years of Red Bull in Formula One. Customised liveries will also be seen at the Singapore and United States Grands Prix later in the F1 season.

Winner's Statement

Winner of the first REBL CUSTMS round of 2024, Chalaj Suvanish said: “I wanted to enter the REBL CUSTMS competition because the chance to design a livery for my favourite Team is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I have been so lucky to have won and now I get to see a race in real life and I can’t quite believe it, not only do I get to attend an F1 race I get to see the car I customized on track! I used red in the design of the car to represent the spirit and strength depicted in the Red Bull logo and took inspiration from the way flow-vis paints is used in aerodynamic testing. I love watching Oracle Red Bull Racing win and I can’t describe how it would feel to see them win in my livery.”

Expanded Influence

As well as the redesigned RB20, the Red Bull Racing garage, social media platforms and Sparco race suits will take inspiration from Suvanish’s custom design.

Red Bull will be looking to return to form after failing to secure a podium finish during last weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix.

After the British Grand Prix, several prominent figures from Red Bull Racing will make their way to the Goodwood Festival of Speed for a series of special events celebrating 20 years of the team. The weekend will also see the unveiling of Red Bull’s hypercar project, the RB17.
