Prices announced for Norton Manx R - £20,050 is a bargain!
Norton has revealed the price of its new flagship superbike ahead of first customer deliveries in June 2026.
The Manx R, which Norton says blends ‘heritage, performance, modernity and luxury’, will be available in four spec variants - Manx R (£20,250), Manx R Apex (£24,750), Manx R Signature (£38,750) and Manx R First Edition - from launch. Only 150 examples of the range-topping ‘First Edition’ variant will be produced.
At the heart of the Manx R is an all-new 72° V4 1200cc powertrain producing 206bhp at 11,500rpm, while class-leading torque (130 Nm) and an all-new Isle of Man TT-inspired chassis offer “unrivalled rider feel” and a “visceral on-road connection between rider and machine.” In fact, Norton’s connection to the Isle of Man TT goes back over a century, with the brand competing in the inaugural TT in 1907. Overall, Norton has amassed 94 wins and 323 podium finishes on the Isle of Man.
There has been a look into the more recent aspects of motorbike racing; however, with the V4 layout chosen due to its dominant use in MotoGP racing.
There’s also the addition of Norton’s advanced semi‑active suspension technology, which the brand says is its most sophisticated system ever.
Richard Arnold, CEO Norton Motorcycles, said:“The new Manx R is not just a motorcycle - it’s a charismatic vision of our future. Our focus is always on the rider. Dramatic in design, rich in emotion and infused with engineering excellence, our new Manx R flagship is a statement of Norton’s intent. It always puts you at the centre of the riding experience, where the tarmac meets your soul.”
The Manx R is the first model to be launched under Norton Resurgence as part of TVS Motor Company, which acquired Norton in 2020. Over £200 million has been pumped into Norton by TVS since its takeover, and the design, engineering and build of the Man R model have taken place at Norton’s state-of-the-art global HQ in Solihull following the closure of its former factory in Donington Park.
As the flagship model for Norton’s resurgence, the Manx R represents a step towards the luxury sector and the next chapter for a company originally founded in 1898.
