Nissan Formula E Team reveals cherry blossom livery

Nissan has revealed its livery for the 2024/25 Formula E World Championship (Season 11), opting to continue with its popular cherry blossom theme.

Of course, Japan is famous for its cherry blossoms and the theme has been a fixture of Nissan’s livery since Season 9 of the championship two years ago.

Nissan finished fourth in last season’s Teams’ and Drivers’ Championships, as well as a third-place finish in the newly established Manufacturers’ Championship. The Japanese team has tweaked its driver lineup for 2024/25 and sees the return of Norman Nato following a one season absence alongside the continuing Oliver Rowland. Nato will use the number 17 on his Nissan e-4ORCE 05, while Rowland goes with the number 23.

The team will be based out of its new 2,600 square metre facility located south of Paris which features a workshop area, simulator, engineering and management offices and meetings rooms.

Pre-season testing is on 4-7 November in Valencia, while Season 11 of Formula E begins at the São Paulo E-Prix on December 7.
