Low mileage Ferrari F50 expected to sell for over $20 million in Las Vegas auction

A rare low-mileage 1997 Ferrari F50 is the star attraction of Broad Arrow’s second annual Las Vegas Auction on October 31.

With just 106 miles on the clock, the F50 is expected to fetch over $20 million according to early estimates and is one of 75 supercars and hypercars available at the single-day auction.

The late production example — chassis number 107165 — is the 334th of just 349 F50s ever built and one of approximately 25 examples delivered new to the UK, arriving at Maranello Sales Ltd of Egham in Surrey.

Finished in its original Rosso Corsa colour, with Nero leather and Rosso seat inserts, the F50 is powered by a 4.7-litre, 513hp V12 derived from Ferrari’s 1990 Formula 1 engine. It is mated to a six-speed gated manual transmission.

It also comes with its factory removable hardtop and flight case, as well as a collection of factory accessories, including J.P. Tod’s driving shoes, three-piece Schedoni luggage set with dust covers, tool kit, fuse, bulb, and belt kit, wheel socket, and car, seat, and steering wheel covers.

“This is as close as anyone can get today to taking delivery of a brand new F50”

Alexander Weaver, Senior Car Specialist and Vice President at Broad Arrow Auctions, remarked on the F50: “This is certainly the lowest mileage example of an end-of-an-era supercar.”

“While modern hypercars continue to push the boundaries of design and engineering technology, today’s younger collectors are also seeking a return to an analogue driving experience, and we’ve seen the likes of Ferrari and McLaren tease new cars with the manual transmissions they’re after. The F50 offers the ultimate mechanical, unfiltered driving experience, powered by Formula 1-derived technology. And for serious collectors, this is as close as anyone can get today to taking delivery of a brand new F50.”
