Lando Norris & Valentino Rossi join 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed lineup

The upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed will include the presence of two World Champions after it was confirmed that Lando Norris and Valentino Rossi would attend.

The 2025 Formula 1 World Champion will head to Goodwood a week after competing at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, while nine‑time Grand Prix motorcycle racing World Champion Rossi will join a host of fellow bike riders already confirmed to be attending the festival.

Norris and Rossi will be in attendance together on the Friday afternoon for a Goodwood Balcony moment in front of thousands of fans, with Norris returning the following day to the balcony for a solo celebration of his World Championship title.

The Duke of Richmond CBE DL, founder of Goodwood Festival of Speed, said: “Norris and Rossi. Together at Goodwood. It is without doubt a moment that will go down in Festival of Speed history. We’re incredibly grateful to Monster Energy for uniting these two World Champions at Goodwood and look forward to celebrating together in style later this summer.

“A true celebration of motorsport in every form”

Lando Norris said: “Goodwood is always mega, it's a proper celebration of motorsport. There’s an awesome atmosphere, so many fans, and sharing it with a legend like Valentino just makes it even cooler.”

Valentino Rossi said: “Goodwood is something really special, a true celebration of motorsport in every form. Being at Festival of Speed, seeing so many passionate fans, and sharing the hill with incredible athletes like Lando Norris and John McGuinness makes it an unforgettable experience.”

The 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place between Thursday 9 and Sunday 12 July.
