Lamborghini Revuelto Set for Salon Privé Appearance
Lamborghini Revuelto will make one of its first UK appearances at Salon Privé later this month as the Italian brand continues its 60th anniversary celebrations.
The firm’s first High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) divided opinion when it was first announced earlier this year. With 1,015bhp, Revuelto combines the all-new 6.5-litre V12 engine with three electric motors and a double clutch gearbox. It has all-wheel drive and there are 13 drive modes on offer, including all-electric, helping to reduce overall CO2 emissions by 30%.
Billed as a natural successor to the Aventador, the Revuelto has the best power to weight ratio of any Lamborghini in history, doing 0-62mph in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of over 217mph. The Italian powerhouse will also showcase models from the Hurucan and Urus ranges, in partnership with Lamborghini Birmingham, on the Salon Salon Privé Blenheim South Lawn.
Continuing the 60th anniversary celebrations, a showcase of over 70 classic V12 Lamborghinis will be on display as part of the Salon Privé Supercar Saturday on September 2nd. There will also be an additional display of V8 and V10 Lamborghinis in the Great Court, as part of the Salon Privé Club Trophy by Lockton.
“It is fantastic that Salon Privé is going to be part of the year-long celebrations marking 60 years of Lamborghini,” said Salon Privé co-founder and director David Bagley. “Showcasing the tremendous Lamborghini Revuelto will be a real highlight, particularly as we’re also going to see a display of more than 70 classic V12 Lamborghinis during Salon Privé Supercar Saturday. It will be a wonderful way to celebrate 60 years of Lamborghini.”
Salon Privé opens on August 30th and tickets can be purchased via the website: www.salonpriveconcours.com
