Introducing the Hennessey Venom 800 Super Truck

Texas-based manufacturer Hennessey has unveiled its super fast take on the Ford F-150 Raptor R - the Hennessey Venom 800 F-150.

Why 800? This equates to the bhp that Hennessey’s new truck will produce, in addition to 6,200rpm and 757 lb-ft of torque. These output figures enable a 0-60mph time of 3.4 seconds and should console those unable to pick up a Raptor R. This isn’t Hennessey’s first take on a Ford, having previously supercharged a Ford Mustang Dark Horse.

This raw speed is thanks to Hennessey’s addition of a 3.0-litre supercharger, upgraded air-to-water intercooler, high-performance fuel injection and high-flow air induction system. As well as an improved exhaust, Brembo performance brakes and enhancements to the suspension, the Venom 800 F-150 is boosted with 20-inch 10-spoke wheels, 35-inch off-road tyres and front and rear steel bumpers.

A single piece carbon fibre Hennessey grille is one of the noticeable exterior changes, as well as electric fold out running boards and illuminated Venom 800 front badges. On the inside, Hennessey is embroidered into the headrests and the theme continues in the floormats along with patriotic American flag inserts.

John Hennessey, company founder and CEO: “Demand for powerfully designed and engineered Hennessey trucks continues to grow strongly. Our new Venom 800 F-150 is the super truck that our clients have been asking for. Highly capable both on- and off-road, it offers the perfect combination of performance, utility, and luxury.”

Production of the Venom 800 F-150 will be limited to 250 units in 2024 and will be available to order through authorised Ford retailers. Each model will be special in its own way, getting unique badging and serial-numbered engine plate.
