Ferrari unveils Hypercar livery for WEC 2024

Ferrari has unveiled the livery of the 499P that will compete in the Hypercar class of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) 2024.

Revealed what is the date of birth of the late Enzo Ferrari, the 499P has a red and yellow livery which celebrates the Ferrari 312 PB - the last prototype to compete in the World Championship in 1973. The racing red colour used has been inspired by the F2007 Formula 1 car which Kimi Raikkonen drove to win Ferrari’s last F1 World Championship title 17 years ago. There hasn’t been too much deviation either from the livery seen on last year’s competing car, which won the Centenary 24 Hours of Le Mans and finished second in the Manufacturer’s standings behind Toyota.

This season’s WEC begins with a prologue pre-event test at the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar from February 24-25 before the proper racing begins with the Qatar 1812km at the same circuit on March 2nd.

Ferrari will go with unchanged teams in 2024 with Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, and Nicklas Nielsen driving 499P #50, while 499P #51 will be driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi.
