Ferrari reveals 2026 FIA WEC livery ahead of title defences
Ferrari and its 499P hypercars will defend their Manufacturers’ and Drivers’ FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) crowns with an updated livery in 2026.
The official Ferrari AF Corse team unveiled the new look that the number 50 and number 51 499P cars will sport during a public event at the Museo Enzo Ferrari in Modena.
Ferrari’s Manufacturers’ title success in 2025 was its first in 53 years and the ninth in its history. Both cars will sport laurels celebrating the win on the front fender beneath the Prancing Horse badge, while the number 51 crew has FIA laurels displayed on the door fins, having secured the Drivers’ title.
The livery was designed by the Centro Stile Ferrari and nods to the team’s heritage, specifically the 312 P that dominated endurance racing until 1973. The hypercar pairs Rosso Scuderia (red) and Giallo Modena (yellow), and like its 2026 Formula 1 sibling, ditches the matte paint in favour of a gloss finish. Other changes see the arrow, formed by yellow diagonal lines, reversed with its tip pointing towards the rear wing.
Ferrari World Endurance Championship Driver Lineup
Ferrari goes into the 2026 WEC season with an unchanged driver lineup for its two 499P hypercars.
The number 50 499P will return to action with Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen behind the wheel, while the number 51 will again be driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi.
Italian driver Giovinazzi reflected on last year’s win, saying: “2025 was a fantastic year – it fulfilled a dream I’ve had since childhood: becoming World Champion with Ferrari.”
He also expressed his particular excitement about two of the races on the 2026 calendar: “The Le Mans race is the most important of the year. However, I am just as excited about the 6 Hours of Imola in Italy, where in 2025 we won in front of our tifosi.”
