Ferrari 360 Modena F1 once owned by Jenson Button for sale

Bought new by Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button in 2001, this Ferrari 360 Modena F1 is now available for sale and at £59,950, represents an interesting opportunity for one potential buyer.

Finished in Nero with Crema leather and specced in the upgraded 'Daytona' Style seat trim and optioned with the Xenon headlights. It does come with the lesser desired 6-speed ‘F1’ automated manual gearbox which uses a flappy-padel system similar to Ferrari’s F1 cars at the time. There’s a plaque referencing the team’s championship win in 2000 housed on the passenger side of the dashboard. Nevertheless, it is powered by a 3.6L V8 producing 395bhp and reaching 60mph in 4.6 seconds. Its top speed of 183mph would have been a breeze for the then-21-year-old Button in his second year in Formula 1.

The car has been on sale for a little while now and has 37,000 miles on the clock. It is being sold with a huge history folder containing evidence of its regular maintenance throughout its life. 360 Modenas with similar mileage usually come in at a similar price, so for F1 fans, the Button connection gives it extra provenance.
