F1 teams don special liveries for Las Vegas Grand Prix

Formula 1 returns to Las Vegas this weekend, with Lando Norris leading McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri in one of the closest title battles in years.

Some of the F1 teams will be donning a special one-off livery to mark the occasion in Sin City, adding even more colour to the event under the city lights.

Let’s take a look at some of the efforts…

The one-off Racing Bulls livery is a holographic design that takes inspiration from team sponsor Cash App’s new Holo Card. Drivers Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar will also wear special matching race suits, boots, and gloves.

Williams’ livery in Las Vegas will be all black, with a strip of colour to reflect the bright lights of the city. It has been created to celebrate title partner Atlassian’s new AI venture, Rovo.

Alpine will run a new livery for the final three races of the season, starting in Las Vegas. Even more pink will be used, most notably on the sidepods, as well as casino chip-inspired hubcaps.

Sauber has only three races left before being absorbed by the incoming Audi F1 team, and is going out in style with a brand new livery.

Drivers Niko Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto’s cars’ design are a tribute to ‘the chequered flag’ as Sauber crosses the line to finish its stint in Formula 1.
