F1 Grid Remains Unchanged for 2024

Williams confirmed Logan Sargeant will remain as its second driver for the 2024 Formula One season, completing the full 20-driver grid for next year.

It is an unchanged grid from the one that started in last week’s final race of the 2023 season in Abu Dhabi with the only change from the beginning of this year coming when Daniel Riccardo replaced Nyck de Vries mid-way through the calendar.

The 24 race calendar for 2024 was announced in July and will see the drivers returning to China for the first time since 2019. The Emilia Romana Grand Prix, cancelled this year due to flooding, is also scheduled to return.

The Qatar Grand Prix has been moved to December 1st, one week before the final race in Abu Dhabi, to reduce logistical difficulties and provide better racing conditions than the extreme heat that was faced this year, which saw several drivers taken unwell post-race.

It was another dominant year for World Champion Max Verstappen and Red Bull, with Verstappen winning 19 and Red Bull 21 of the 22 races.

Full 2024 Driver Line Up:

Red Bull - Max Verstappen | Sergio Perez
Mercedes - Lewis Hamilton | George Russell
Ferrari - Charles Leclerc | Carlos Sainz
McLaren - Lando Norris | Oscar Piastri
Aston Martin - Fernando Alonso | Lance Stroll
Alpine - Pierre Gasly | Esteban Ocon
Alpha Tauri - Yuki Tsunoda | Daniel Ricciardo
Williams - Alex Albon | Logan Sargeant
Alfa Romeo - Valtteri Bottas | Zhou Guanyu
Haas - Kevin Magnussen | Nico Hulkenberg

Pre-season testing takes place in Bahrain between February 21-23 before the 2024 F1 season begins there a week later on February 29-March 2.
