Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 7 set for March release
The Netflix hit is back
The 2024 Formula 1 World Championship was, refreshingly, one of the most competitive, exciting and unpredictable seasons of the sport in many years. After Red Bull’s overwhelming dominance in 2023, last season saw seven different race winners with the title not being decided until the later months of the year.
Of course, it proved to be a fourth championship win in as many years for Red Bull’s Max Verstappen who defended his title despite being pushed to the wire by McLaren’s Lando Norris.
It was a different story in the Constructors’ Championship as McLaren secured the title ahead of second placed Ferrari. Red Bull’s third place finish was largely down to Sergio Perez’s indifferent form as Max Verstappen’s teammate, with the Mexican driver scoring 152 points on his way to an 8th place Championship finish.
Behind the scenes access
The documentary series will, once again, provide plenty of behind the scenes access to the teams and drivers as they navigate their way through race weekends, training and off the track activities.
While there will no longer be a chance to see Guenther Steiner’s famous antics, the longest season in Formula 1 history provided plenty of drama, clashes and driver changes as the sport’s popularity continued to grow.
When is Drive to Survive Season 7 released?
All ten episodes of Drive to Survive Season 7 will be released on Netflix on March 7th. Seasons 1-6 are still available to watch on the platform.
