Dacia Bigster priced from £24,995

Competitive pricing announced for all-new SUV

Dacia has announced pricing and specifications for its all-new Bigster SUV, one of the most anticipated new cars of 2025. The UK lineup consists of three trim levels and continues Dacia’s value for money reputation that has seen it sell 8 million vehicles in 44 countries since its 2004 relaunch by the Renault Group, with all coming in at under £30,000.

Trim levels and standard equipment

The Romanian brand says all trim levels - Expression, Journey and Extreme - “focus on day-to-day comfort” and come with keyless entry, a 10.1-inch central touchscreen, dual-zone automatic air con, alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, multiview camera, automatic wipers and tons of safety kit as standard.

Expression

The most affordable trim is priced from £24,995 and comes with 17-inch diamond alloy wheels, a split rear bench with easy fold, and Dacia’s multimedia system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectively.

Journey

The next level trim starts from £26,245 and benefits from 19-inch semi-diamond cut alloy wheels, bespoke Journey seating upholstery, front passenger seat lumbar support and a powered tailgate.

Extreme

The top level Extreme trim is also priced from £26,495, with the most expensive spec coming in at £29,495. This trim gives your Bigster 18-inch semi-diamond cut alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, modular roof bars, washable MicroCloud TEP upholstery and rubber mats as standard.

Also, the Extreme and Journey trim levels benefit from a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, wireless phone charging, high beam assist, heated and electronically adjustable door mirrors. Up to 677 litres of boot space is also available depending on the engine choice.

Colour choices

There are six paint colours to choose from, including Pearl Black, Cedar Green, Shadow Green, Shadow Grey, Terracotta, Glacier White and the new Bigster exclusive Indigo Blue (cover photo).

Powertrain options

TCe 140

Available for the first time in the Dacia range and in four wheel drive, this combines a new-gen 1.2 litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid system producing 140hp and 230Nm of torque, which the Romanian brand says “reduces average fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.”

Hybrid 155

Offered for the first time on a vehicle from the Renault Group, this four wheel drive option uses an automatic gearbox and produces 155hp and 172Nm of torque.

TCe 130 4x4

This all-wheel drive engine option uses a 6 speed manual gearbox and 48V mild hybrid system producing 130hp and 230Nm of torque to best be used while off-roading. This option isn’t available on the Journey trim level.

The Dacia Bigster is not the quickest car on the market, limited to a top speed of 112mph and capable of doing 0-62mph in between 9.7 and 11.2 seconds depending on the engine.
