The Land Rover Collection by Collecting Cars closes 2024 in style
Premier 24/7 online auction platform Collecting Cars is rounding off 2024 with a dedicated global Land Rover Collection, offering some of the most exclusive 4x4s on the market today. It’s a full circle moment for the platform, with the first of its 17,500 sold lots being a 1993 Range Rover Classic LSE back in 2019. The marque is extremely popular with collectors worldwide, and the selection includes various limited-edition and bespoke builds.

1980 Land Rover Series III 88”
This fully restored 1980 Land Rover Series III 88" is finished in a burgundy exterior paired with a matching burgundy and black interior.
1983 Land Rover 101 Forward Control
This military-inspired model, finished in Sand and Nato Green, has only 21,755 miles on the clock. The full Buyer’s Premium will be donated to Help for Heroes as part of its partnership with UK-based organisation, Land Rovers of London.
The 101 Forward Control name is derived from the vehicle's 101-inch (2,565 mm) wheelbase, with originals being produced by Land Rover for the British Army.
2011 Land Rover Defender SVX ‘Spectre’
This Land Rover has appeared in two consecutive Daniel Craig James Bond films, Skyfall and Spectre. When it appeared in Skyfall, the car was a metallic grey Defender 110 Double-Cab and was driven by Moneypenny through the markets of Istanbul with Bond as a passenger. For the following film, it was transformed by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations and Bowler into a ‘Bigfoot’ Defender with 37-inch all-terrain tyres and a roll cage. This time, the Defender was in the hands of the villains as Bond pursued them through Alpine terrain.
The Defender is sold with a Spectre plaque and signed documentation to prove its provenance.
2014 Land Rover Defender 90 V8 Works 70th Edition
This Defender is UK-based and one of only 150 built to commemorate Land Rover’s 70th anniversary.
2016 Land Rover Defender 110 - Bespoke
Rebuilt by Bespoke Defenders in 2020 with custom modifications costing over £60,000, this 2016 Land Rover Defender 110 XS is a meticulous restoration.
2021 Land Rover Defender 90 V8 - Bond Edition
Another of the offerings with connections to the world’s most famous spy is the 2021 Defender 90 V8 Bond Edition. This limited edition model was designed by Land Rover SV Bespoke, taking inspiration from the Defenders used in Daniel Craig’s final Bond film, No Time to Die.
Only 300 units were produced worldwide, with this example presented in left hand drive configuration. It is powered by a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine delivering 518bhp and 625Nm of torque, and paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
