Smart #3 The New Sporty SUV Design Revealed

Smart has unveiled designs for the all-new Smart #3, the second car to be released by the company after the smart #1. Sharing the same design philosophy as its predecessor, this new all-electric SUV coupé is a more sporty design. After rebranding and relaunching in 2019, smart is positioning itself as a leading provider of intelligent electric vehicles in the premium sector.

With the team from Mercedes-Benz putting their touch on the car, as they did with the Smart #1, it is an even sportier interpretation of the brand’s identity.

The design has a range of stand-out details. At the front, slimmed-down LED headlights are paired with a strong “shark nose” and an A-shaped wide grille. On the sides, the prominent two-tone roof meets with the smooth, continuous e-line that connects the A-pillar and C-pillar, creating an elegant and sporty fastback silhouette. The large alloy wheels add a powerful element, with scooped cooling ducts leaving no question about its intent on performance.

The Smart #3 will premiere at Auto Shanghai on April 18 2023
