Rolls-Royce Sunningdale open new luxury showroom
Having been in the works for the last 18 months, the resigned and redeveloped Rolls-Royce Sunningdale showroom in the south east corner of Berkshire has opened its doors.
Now spanning two levels, the facility offers potential clients an immersive experience from the minute they step inside the building. Rolls-Royce iconography is prominent throughout, with the front door modelling on the brand’s famous Pantheon grille while the doorway has the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy figurine on top.
The brand’s heritage and recognition of its founding fathers are blended in equal measure with contemporary luxury. Clients will encounter the Cabinet of Curiosities which contains a plethora of interesting design objects designed to get the creative juices flowing during the commission process. The jewel in the crown is Rolls-Royce’s Atelier, which houses the best of the marque’s craftsmanship, including wood veneers, leathers, embroidery threads and lambswool samples. The sensory experience during each meeting is designed to help the client envisage their dream commission and help it come to life.
"The reopening of the Sunningdale dealership, the showroom nearest to the Home of the Rolls-Royce in West Sussex, is a great moment for us. This new space, with its wealth of innovative digital technologies and elegant, luxurious design, is the perfect embodiment of the brand. It really captures the essence of the marque and brings our visual identity to life, reaffirming our position as a leading House of Luxury, distinct from an automotive manufacturer."
Boris Weletzky, Regional Director, United Kingdom, Europe, and Central Asia
Last year was an impressive one for Rolls-Royce and resulted in a record year for the brand with 6,000 cars sold worldwide.
