New McMurtry Spéirling Pure images revealed ahead of global public debut
One of the most hotly anticipated cars of 2026 will make its global public debut on August 14th at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, before heading to Laguna Seca Raceway the following day for the Monterey Motorsports Reunion.
Yes, this is the McMurtry Spéirling Pure. A production version of the car that can do everything, from breaking circuit records with its blistering performance to driving upside down. Despite boasting F1-style performance that enables a 0-60mph time of 1.55 seconds, the car will only be on static display at the McMurtry stand. Although much has changed from the previously shown prototype version, with the display model containing 95% new components.
McMurtry co-founder and Managing Director, Thomas Yates, will attend both events before the Spéirling Pure heads off on a tour of the United States, where it will be on display at a number of dealer partners and tracks.
Yates said: “The Quail really will be a significant moment in McMurtry’s history, and we cannot wait to witness the reaction of the public, our customers and the media in seeing the Spéirling PURE in production form, in person, for the first time. It’s one thing to see the images online, but to truly absorb the car’s design, proportions, details and finish, nothing compares to when the car is there in front of you.”
Only 100 examples of the Spéirling Pure will be produced, with customer deliveries beginning later in 2026.
