McLaren Opens New Showroom in Dubai

McLaren Dubai

McLaren has added to its 100 locations across the world with its largest retailer to date, McLaren Dubai. The opening of the new major hub was marked with a gala event attended by 200 people and a light show that lit up the Middle Eastern sky. McLaren continues to expand its presence in the Middle East & Africa, following the launch of the largest dedicated McLaren Service Centre in Dubai last year which spans 950sqm and includes a McLaren Special Operations (MSO) studio, where customers can personalise their new car in a variety of different ways.

2023 has been a big year for the Woking-based brand as it celebrates 60 years since its founding by racer and pioneer, Bruce McLaren. After its announcement in April, the new 750S - McLaren’s lightest and most powerful series production supercar - made its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and is sold out well into 2024. The 750S made its regional debut at the Dubai opening and next year production will begin on the Artura, McLaren’s first series-production high-performance hybrid supercar.

Also on the horizon for McLaren is the Solus GT. The single-seat hypercar was also given its debut at Goodwood and was recently first delivered in August as part of the 2023 Monterey Car Week. Originally developed as a concept for the Gran Turismo video game, it has been brought to life in a limited 25 model run.

On the track, McLaren’s competitiveness continues to grow, with podium finishes in the last two Formula 1 races in Japan and Singapore.
