MC20 Maserati per Maserati is a new family heirloom

The Maserati Fuoriserie personalisation programme has been used to design an MC20 that pays homage to the brand’s history.

Called MC20 Maserati per Maserati (per meaning ‘for’), the car has been commissioned by brothers Alberto and Ettore Maserati. As grandchildren of Maserati’s founder Ettore, their passion for all things automotive was inherited in spirit, and now they wish to pass down something of their own, only something more tangible. This is a personalised car that could only ever be kept in the family.

The delivery of the one-off was made to the Trident's historic headquarters on Viale Ciro Menotti in Modena. Its exterior is finished in Blue Infinito with double Bianco Pastello stripes. A finishing touch is given in the form of a Trident in Grey Pastel on the rear deck, which encloses the twin-turbo 3.0-litre 630hp V6 Nettuno engine. Additional features include a ‘Maserati per Maserati’ badge and lettering on the side, a carbon fibre package and Rosso red brake callipers.

Alcantara dominates the interior and is complemented by Macrotwill carbon fibre accents. Nero and Nero-Blu colour schemes are used across the door panels, dashboard and six-way sports seats.

The delivery of the one-off commission turned into a family reunion and was witnessed by Ettore Maserati’s grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and the wife of Carlo Maserati (Ettore’s son), who passed away in 2018. Several classic Maseratis were placed alongside the MC20, including the A6, 6C34, and 6CM models.
