Mansory’s ‘Elongation’ Tesla Cybertruck is a sight to behold

Whether that’s in a good way is for you to decide…

After its efforts on the Ferrari Purosangue divided opinion, Mansory is back with another take on an SUV, this time the Tesla Cybertruck.

When I say divided opinion, it is safe to say that judging by the comments on a post about it on our Instagram page, the division wasn’t exactly equally split. Although, at least with the Cybertruck, Mansory won’t be offending any purists with the already whacky-looking SUV defying convention and already dividing opinion in its standard form.

What has Mansory done differently with the Cybertruck?

Let’s start with the name. Mansory has chosen the pun route, calling their effort ‘Elongation’ in a bid to distinguish its Cybertruck from Tesla. Moving swiftly on…

In the main, the German company is customising the Cybertruck with its focus on the exterior, interior and rims and tyres. So, pretty much everything then.

Exterior

The brand has taken the Cybertruck’s crazy design and added various carbon fibre parts to ‘sharpen’ its appearance (as if it could possibly be any sharper but sure) and be recognisable as a ‘real’ Mansory at first glance.

Front and rear bumpers also get the Mansory touch, the colours of which can be customised, while the roof is given additional headlights. Oh, and don’t forget the split rear wing.

Rims & Tyres

To cope with the additional carbon fibre, Mansory has added 26-inch FD.15 rims (6 inches more than the standard) made from forged aluminium alloy and matched them with bigger high-performance road tyres.

Interior

Inside, it is up to the customer to choose what they want in terms of materials and colours, with full leather interiors an option, as well as even more use of carbon fibre. The images given to us are possibly more daring than the outside changes, showing a tasteful combination of lime green, white, grey and black.

As expected, Mansory lettering is plastered over the seats, seatbelts, floor mats and door sills. Basically, there is likely to be Mansory lettering in your eye line at some point.

So, what’s the verdict?
