Haas unveil 2024 design & livery
Haas have kicked off launch season in the world of F1 by revealing their challenger for the 2024 season in a series of digital renders.
Niko Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen will drive VF-24, sticking to a slightly updated traditional black, red and white livery, as they aim to improve on last year’s bottom placed finish in the constructors championship.
This is the first season for new team principal Ayao Komatsu, who recently replaced the outgoing Guenther Steiner, stepping up from his previous engineering role with the team.
“We’re realistic about our expectations for the VF-24 to start but it’s still an exciting moment in any Formula 1 season to showcase the car,” commented Komatsu. “There’s a lot of work ahead of us to make progress and increase our performance but everyone here is highly motivated and eager to get on track with the VF-24. I know we’ll be maximizing our time in Bahrain with all the various items we need to push through. Bottom line, we can’t wait to get going and get the season underway.”
In other Haas news, Andrea De Zordo has been promoted from chief designer to technical director and Damien Brayshaw becomes performance director to manage the car’s development in the coming months.
The car will take to the track at Silverstone on February 11th, where it will be driven by Hulkenberg for the first in person reveal, before heading to Bahrain for pre-season testing from February 21st-23rd.
