Gordon Murray Automotive T.50s to make debut at Goodwood Members’ Meeting

Gordon Murray Automotive (GMA) will return to the Goodwood Members’ Meeting, giving a global debut to its T.50s track car.

Making appearances at 11:50 am on Saturday and 2:55 pm on Sunday, the T.50s will be driven by four-time IndyCar champion Dario Franchitti and will follow “James”, one of the Mule cars for the upcoming T.33 as part of a two-car on-track demonstration.

Away from the track, the GMA paddock display will showcase the story of the T.50s while on the Pit Lane Lawn, GMA will display the T.50s Niki Lauda (named after Gordon Murray’s former Brabham teammate) and two T.50 models alongside a series of engines: GMA V12, GMA.S V12 and Alfa Romeo 115-12 for attendees to view up close. Franchitti will also be answering questions in a Q&A with guests on Saturday at 2:30 pm and Sunday at 10:30 am.

Elsewhere at the 81st Members’ Meeting, Three-time Formula 1 World Champion Niki Lauda will be celebrated with a special on-track demonstration in a year which marks 50 years since his first Grand Prix win at the 1974 Grand Prix. Further celebrations for Lauda will take place at this summer’s Festival of Speed.

The 81st Members’ Meeting takes place on Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 April 2024.
