Formula E returns this Saturday in Mexico City as 11 teams and 22 drivers battle for the championship in 2024. Season 10 of the Formula E Championship will have 17 races, making it the longest to date. New races in Tokyo and Shanghai are scheduled as well as a brand new location in Italy with the Misano Adriatico Circuit in Rimini taking the place of Rome.

After a 16 race season last year, Jake Dennis of Andretti was crowned as Driver’s champion with 11 podium finishes and became the first Brit to win the Formula E title. In the Team’s Championship, British team Envision Racing were victorious thanks to the exploits of Sébastien Buemi and Nick Cassidy, securing 304 points.

Returning to the grid this year is inaugural Formula E Drivers’ World Champion Nyck de Vries who joins Mahindra Racing. After a shortlived stint in F1 with AlphaTauri, the Dutchman will be hoping to bring his previous winning experience to the Indian team in 2024.

It was announced this week that the Hyderabad E-Prix - originally set to be the fourth race of the season - has been officially cancelled due to a contractual dispute.
