Fiat has expanded its Topolino range by adding a Dolcevita version of the all-electric city car.
The Topolino has sold well across Europe and been widely praised, even being named one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2026 in the Design category, with Fiat calling it ‘a simple, practical and accessible alternative to traditional cars’. It seems perfect for those tight Italian streets and the pictures of the Dolcevita edition certainly give it that Roman Holiday feel.
Along with its small size, the Topolino’s soft-top roof is its overwhelming distinctive feature, putting it firmly in the quadricycle category. The opening soft-top roof was exclusive to special edition models previously but is now available as part of the wider Topolino line-up, with UK orders now open through selected retailers.
While prices for the standard Topolino start from £8,995, you’ll have to pay an extra £500 for that Dolcevita lifestyle.
Fiat concept models make noise in Paris
Away from its current lineup, Fiat used the recent Paris Motor Show to showcase two concept cars that certainly made an impression on those in attendance.
The Fiat Multiplay (green), a modern interpretation of the 1998 Multipla, took centre stage in Paris and demonstrated how an SUV can switch from a 6+1 family configuration to a four-seat pick-up with an open bed. It also has a rear spoiler that rotates to become an integrated bike rack that, in the pick-up configuration, can carry up to two bikes.
Meanwhile, the Fiat Multiplina (yellow), based on the 1956 Fiat 600 Multipla, sits between the Topolino and a conventional car and is fully electric.
