Ferrari celebrates the release of Gladiator II
Scuderia Ferrari will celebrate the release of Gladiator II with a series of collaborations
Gladiator II is due to be released on November 15 and is a sequel to the Academy Award winning Gladiator, starring Russell Crowe as Maximus. The sequel takes place years after the original and follows Maximus’ son Lucius - played by Paul Mescal - in Ancient Rome. Ridley Scott is back again to direct, while Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal also star.
Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will head to the film’s premiere in London, before heading to the Las Vegas Grand Prix for the next race on the F1 calendar. The Ferrari car will don a special one-off Gladiator inspired livery for the race which takes place on November 24.
Gladiator II actors Paul Mescal, Connie Nielsen and Fred Hechinger will be guests of Ferrari at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, wearing custom made Ferrari collections as part of the collaboration.
Ferrari currently sits in second place in the World Constructors’ Championship, while Leclerc and Sainz are third and fifth in the driver’s standings, respectively. After Las Vegas, only two races remain in Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
