Citroen Holidays is the ultimate adventurers’ campervan
Citroën’s New Campervan Partnership
Citroën has partnered with van conversion company Bravia Mobil and taken inspiration from its recently updated SpaceTourer by releasing a new campervan - Holidays. Hoping to challenge the current camper market, Holidays sleeps up to four people and comes with a kitchen, retractable roof, swivelling front seats and a modern infotainment system.
Power and Exterior Design
Powered by a BlueHDi 180 diesel engine paired with an EAT8 eight-speed automatic transmission, Holidays has a redesigned front end with a new lighting signature and sits on 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. There are five colours to choose from: Icy White, Perla Nera Black, Cumulus Grey, Titanium Grey and Kapari Green.
Sleeping and Interior Features
The pop up roof, which comes as standard, offers standing headroom and sleeping spaces for two people. The sliding bench can be converted into a sleeping space for two people or even removed entirely for more space, while a better nights sleep is aided by blackout blinds on the windscreen and side windows.
Kitchen and Comforts
Two gas burners for cooking sit near a sink and 16-litre 12V fridge, and on a hot day, the entire kitchen unit and table retractable table can even be moved outside. The driver and passenger seats can be swivelled to face backwards to create a social space. Home comforts are aided by a 10-litre fresh water tank and 10-litre waste water tank, along with a shower and removable toilet. Storage space is abundant, including 27 litres of space in the upper glovebox and side doors.
Plenty of sockets are to be found and powered by the 230V external mains inlet point, with the addition of a roof-mounted solar panel for extra power. A Webasto heating system can be monitored by a control panel which also manages the interior lighting ambience.
Advanced Infotainment and Driver Assistance
Inside is a new dashboard with a 10-inch HD central touchscreen and is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay via your smartphone. A 10-inch digital instrument panel comes as standard and contains 17 driving aids including hill start assist, rear camera with Top Rear Vision and adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function.
Prices for the new Citroën Holidays start from £56,590. Order books open later this summer with deliveries due towards the end of the year.
