Alpine has made a big impression at the 2024 Paris Motor Show, unveiling several new cars as it looks towards the future. One of these is the A110 R Ultime, the final take on its A110 model and arriving with a hefty price tag.

The A110 R Ultime is powered by the same 1.8 litre 4-cylinder engine, this time fitted with a modified turbo and featuring a new DW6 gearbox with improved torque capacity (420 Nm). This equates to 345bhp, giving the R Rultime a 0-60mph time of 3.8 seconds.

Other additions include a titanium exhaust system, four adjustable dampers, a bespoke braking system with 330mm AP Racing bi-material discs, high-performance brake pads and new cooling ducts. The A110 R Ultime also has increased downforce - 160 kg more than the R Turini - thanks to work by Alpine’s aerodynamicists. The work done, according to Alpine, makes the A110 R Ultime “ultra-high-performance and ever more agile on corner entry, cornering, and acceleration.”

The car sits on 18-inch forged wheels at the front and 19-inch at the rear covered with Michelin PS2 CUP tyres. While this is expected to be a beast on the track, Alpine says the A110 R Ultime is a “genuine road legal circuit car.” As the name suggests, only 110 models will be created, each varying in price based on customer configurations and personalisations, although prices do start from £221,000.

A110 R Ultime in La Bleue

The A110 R Ultime on show in Paris was a special version known as ‘La Bleue’.

Using a mix of two Alpine blues - Alpine Vision Blue and Abysse Blue - on the exterior, the theme continues to the interior, which uses Poltrana Frau and Sablet blue leather. This is the most expensive version of the A110 R Ultime on offer, priced at £276,000 and limited to 15 models.
