Alpine A110 Future revealed ahead of Goodwood Festival of Speed appearance
Alpine’s new A110 Future model will be centre stage at the brand’s Goodwood Festival of Speed display later this month.
The development model has been built to test the technology that will power the third-generation A110 and will run on the new Alpine Performance Platform (APP). The French brand calls it the ‘world’s first true EV sports car ’, and the car’s ‘Future’ name reflects its importance to Alpine in the years ahead.
The APP comprises an advanced aluminium architecture and two battery packs, giving it the 40/60% front/rear balance of a true sports car. The 800V cell-to-pack technology has high-energy-density cells to reduce weight and charging time, while a new rear dual e-motor 3-in-1 e-axle with SiC inverter gives better torque, performance and control. Completing the picture are new integrated braking and steering systems.
Attendees will be able to see the A110 Future at the First Glance Paddock across all four days of the festival and as part of the ‘Brand Parade’ on the festival’s opening day, along with Celebration and Berlinette A110 models, and an E20 Formula One car. Also joining the new model at the festival will be the highly successful best-selling A290 hot hatch and the A390, the brand’s 470hp five-seat sport fastback
Alpine F1 drivers Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto will also be in attendance, along with Academy driver Nina Gademan and reserve drivers Paul Aron and Alex Dunne.
The 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place from 9-12 July.
