In F1, the pinnacle of motorsport, Ferrari proves to be the most successful team of all time.

THE FERRARI CHALLENGE SERIES.

Since 1993, Ferrari’s one-make series has been giving clients and drivers from all over the world a route into motorsport, offering spectacular challenges and unique emotions. The Ferrari Challenge has taken on a global dimension over the years that increasingly makes it the benchmark in single-marque series and an ideal starting point for a career in the world of GT racing. Ferrari Challenge drivers have been known to further their racing careers beyond the one-make series and excel in world-class tournaments such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The exceptional calibre of the participants ensures exhilarating contests on the world’s most legendary tracks, behind the wheel of specialised vehicles that with each new model increasingly mirror the mainstays of the GT divisions.

Supporting the teams and drivers is a Ferrari organisation that blends professionalism and expertise with a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

In the UK, the championship is divided into two competition classes: Coppa Shell, for drivers new to motorsport and competitive driving, and Trofeo Pirelli, for more experienced drivers or new drivers who show competitive ability.

In the 2025 UK Series, as many as 22 cars were seen on each grid, making for an exciting spectacle at each round of the championship.

Each round of the Ferrari Challenge UK series is streamed live to an online audience via YouTube and Ferrari’s own dedicated motorsport streaming platform live.ferrari.com. Both streaming services are free for spectators who watch the competitions from all around the world.

Around 100,000 live viewers enjoyed the 2025 races via YouTube alone, with significant additional numbers gained on the official Ferrari streaming site and through catch-up. Race highlights of the UK rounds can be seen on SkySportsF1 in addition to in-depth interviews, discussions, and specialist features specifically around the UK series. For the 2025 season, John Marcar and team Driven featured prominently following significant fan interest.

JOHN MARCAR - THE DRIVER.

» 4th Place in the 2025 Championship
» 100% Finish rate, always in the top ten
» The most successful newcomer of 2025
» Automotive journalist and influencer driver

As first seasons go, for John Marcar, his debut in the Ferrari Challenge UK series was action-packed, entertaining and highly competitive. After winning the Ferrari-run ‘Ready 2 Race Championship’ without prior competitive experience, John was placed in the Trofeo Pirelli class - the pinnacle of Corse Clienti Ferrari racing.

For his debut season in the Ferrari Challenge and competitive motorsport, John celebrated the accolade of ‘best newcomer’, placing 4th overall against a grid of experienced GT racers. Out of the eight races, John placed 4th in five of them, narrowly missing out on two podium finishes. Setting John apart from his competitors is his brand-aware approach to racing and his own in-house media team, who have been by his side to capture and document team Driven’s journey to an audience of YouTube viewers, article readers and social media followers. Outside of the Ferrari Challenge Series, John fills his working week with road testing, writing and presenting to an international audience.
