Williams reveals special British Grand Prix livery

The British team will wear the livery as a one-off for its home race.

Team Members' Names on the Livery

Williams Racing has revealed a special Union Jack livery its FW46 will wear for the British Grand Prix.

The livery will also have the names of all Williams’ 1,005 team members from its Grove, New York and London bases woven in as Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant look to secure points at Silverstone. There is also a new sponsor to be seen on the car as team partner THG will have its Myprotein brand featured on the rear wing for the race.

Williams Academy racer Franco Colapinto will have the opportunity to impress, driving Sargeant’s car in FP1 after a strong start to his first season in F2.

Jenson Button Reunited with FW22

Jenson Button will also be reunited with the first ever F1 car, the Williams FW22 from 2000, for a series of demonstration runs. Away from the track, Button will oversee the first release of Coachbuilt Whisky, something he co-founded and commemorates the Constructors’ Championship-winning FW18 from 1996. Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge will also join the team to prepare a feast for Williams’ guests at Silverstone.

After the British GP, Williams will head to Goodwood for the Festival of Speed with Albon, Sargeant, Team Principal James Vowles and F1 Academy starlet Lia Block all taking to the wheel of the 1982 Drivers’ Championship-winning FW08.
