Surron Ultra Bee Black Carbon Electric Motorbike Arrives in UK

Surron has revealed its latest electric motorcycle, the Ultra Bee Black Carbon, which is now available in the UK at official Surron dealers.

Founded in 2014, Surron is an electric motorbike company that offers the lightweight and versatile Light Bee; the mid-size trials bike, the Ultra Bee; and the high-performance enduro bike, the Storm Bee in its current lineup. Other offered by big brands like BMW and Harley Davidson, electric motorbikes are currently a rarity on UK roads and haven’t had too much mainstream attention other than Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman’s ‘Long Way Up’ series in 2020.

As suggested in the name, the Black Carbon edition boasts an all-new carbon black frame colour and yellow-black wrap finish. It comes equipped for both a daily commute and off-road riding with a new high-performance wheelset providing lateral support and traction. Classed as a 125cc motorbike, it is rideable on a CBT license and is exempt from road tax. To fully charge takes 4 hours and on full charge, the maximum range is 87 miles, with a top speed of 56mph.

The road-legal variants (Ultra Bee R and Ultra Bee T models) start at £6,999.00, inclusive of VAT, and qualify for the Plug-In Motorcycle Grant of £500, taking the price down to £6,499.00 including VAT.

The off-road variant (Ultra Bee X) has an MSRP of £6,299.00, inclusive of VAT.
