New Alfa Romeo Milano to be unveiled on April 10th

Alfa Romeo will unveil its first ever fully electric car, the Milano, on April 10th after a final few months of rigorous testing at its Balocco proving ground.

The Italian marque has used the same engineers who played their part in projects like the 4C, 8C and Giulia GTA. The Milano will be added to the current vehicle lineup which consists of the Giulia, Stelvio and Tonale and compete with similar profile cars such as the Abarth 500e.

The Milano is set to replace the MiTo supermini that stopped being produced in 2018. It will use the E-CMP platform and be built in the same factory as the Jeep Avenger, Vauxhall Mokka, DS 3 and Peugeot 208.

While further details about the Milano remain elusive, Alfa Romeo has released a brief teaser of the car on its Instagram page. Judging by the comments, it looks like the car is set to divide opinion amongst Alfa purists.
