McLaren unveil 2024 F1 livery

The first glimpse of the 2024 Formula One season is here as McLaren became the first team to unveil how its car will look for the upcoming season.

McLaren used last year’s 60th anniversary celebrations to showcase several liveries in tribute to its achievements throughout its history. This year’s car features more of the papaya colour it has been sporting since 2018, a colour which was more prevalent in its earlier years in the sport. Black, or Anthracite as it is described by McLaren, is the other colour that can be seen in almost equal measure.

MCL38 will be fully unveiled on February 14th at Silverstone before heading to Bahrain for pre-season testing a week later.

An unchanged lineup of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will continue for the Woking-based team in 2024 after last season’s 4th place finish in the constructor’s championship and 6th and 9th place finish in the driver’s standings for Norris and Piastri respectively.
