Ferrari to open Glasgow dealership

Ferrari has expanded with the addition of a new dealership in Glasgow, its second in Scotland and the fifth dealership in the UK for the Sytner Group. Before now, Edinburgh was the place to go for Scottish Ferrari clients and this is the first time Ferrari has awarded an additional franchise for over 15 years.

Graypaul Edinburgh is a new state-of-the-art facility and features a large showroom for new cars from the current range, including the Ferrari Roma, the 296 hybrid, and SF90 Stradale. The dealership has a dedicated Aftersales team and a fully equipped workshop staffed with Ferrari-trained technicians to deal with any issues you may have with your car. Graypaul Glasgow also has a wide range of cars from the last 15 years and these are supplied with a 2-year factory warranty.

The Sytner Group is a car dealership group founded in 1968 by Alan Sytner and his brother Frank. The group holds dealerships in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, covering the premium sector of the car market, including Audi, Porsche, and Ferrari.

Dominic Bell, Head of Business at Graypaul Glasgow, already leads the existing Ferrari dealership in Edinburgh and has over 15 years of experience with the Sytner Group. He commented, “This is an incredibly exciting time for the iconic Ferrari brand, and we are privileged to be bringing the world’s foremost luxury sports car manufacturer to the city of Glasgow, and we all look forward to welcoming both new and longstanding customers and Ferrari fans to Graypaul Glasgow.”

Francesco Balli, Regional Manager, Ferrari North Europe, commented: “The UK remains one of the most important markets for Ferrari, and we are delighted to announce the expansion of the dealer network into Scotland. We know there are many passionate clients and fans in Scotland, and we look forward to welcoming them to our new home in Glasgow – from where we are sure many a memorable road trip into the Highlands will begin.”

The Highlands is surely the first place you would take your brand new Ferrari, with its perfect scenery and twisting roads. Ferrari will be a brand to keep an eye on in the next few years. Having initially dismissed electric technology, supposedly preferring to stick to tradition and remaining true to the spirit of Enzo Ferrari, the brand went back on its initial stance, releasing the SF90 Stradale, its first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. A fully electric car is rumoured to be coming in 2025 and the recent release of the Purosangue showed their willingness to also enter the SUV market.
