BMW 1M owned by Schmee150 offered for sale

Collecting Cars lists a Schmeemobile

A BMW 1M owned by Tim Burton - known to the automotive community as Schmee150 - is being offered for sale at No Reserve on the Collecting Cars online platform.

The YouTuber bought the BMW as a project car in 2023 when it was listed as the cheapest 1M Coupe in the country. Finished in finished in Valencia Orange Metallic with a over a black Boston leather-trimmed cabin, it had had two owners from new. Just 450 were delivered to the UK on release in 2011.

It is offered with 95,600 miles on the clock and powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six, delivering 335bhp and 332lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission with Quaife differential - fitted in place of the original item. 

Inside, the equipment includes rear parking sensors, an Alcantara steering wheel, heated front seats, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, a BMW Professional CD stereo, and a Harman/Kardon sound system. 

Collecting Cars is marketing it as a “natural addition to any collection” and “an exciting, eye-catching and eminently usable daily driver”.
